Questions about pricing and licensing
Is this a subscription?
Pricing is set per app, not store-wide — most apps today are a one-time purchase per machine, but check the app's own page for its actual terms before buying. Where an app is a one-time purchase, you pay once for a license and keep using that version and its updates, with no recurring charge.
What does the free trial include, and does it need a card?
No card is required to start a trial on any app. What the trial itself includes — every feature, a limited set, a time limit, or none — varies by app, so check the app's own page for specifics; you download and use the real app for the trial, then activate a license from your account when you're ready to keep it.
How many machines can one license activate?
That depends on the app and the license you buy — each app page shows the exact machine count for its license before you purchase. Some apps also offer an additional-machine add-on if you need to cover more than the base count.
Does the software work offline?
That depends on the app — check its own page for whether it's offline-first. Today's apps run entirely on your machine and don't need a network connection to work; they check in with the license server periodically in the background, and keep working through brief connectivity gaps without interrupting you.
What's the refund policy?
Every paid app has a free trial so you can decide before you pay. We don't run an automatic refund window, but we do review genuine issues case by case. Full policy: /legal/refunds
How do I move a license to a new computer?
Deactivate the old machine either from inside the app's own Settings or from the machine list in your account at /account, then sign in and activate on the new one — the same license key works on any machine up to its activation limit. No need to contact support for a routine transfer.
Which payment methods and currencies are supported?
Payments are handled by Razorpay and support UPI, cards, and netbanking. Prices are shown in USD or INR depending on your location.
Where does my data go — is anything uploaded?
That depends on the app — check its own page for whether it uploads or syncs anything. Today's apps keep your files on your own machine and don't upload, move, or edit your originals; the only data any of them sends to our servers is what licensing requires, like your account email and a device identifier, never the contents of your files.
How do updates work, and are they free?
Updates are delivered through the app's built-in updater and are included with your license at no extra cost. You'll be notified in-app when a new version is available.
